The do-it-all mixer to create cherished memories
KitchenAid's was the first home stand mixer to feature ‘planetary action’. That means the shaft rotates one way, while the attachment rotates the other, spiralling to at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl. Nothing is missed!
This mixer comes with lots of handy accessories for your next making session. The pastry beater has horizontal bars, specially for cutting in butter, but also works as a regular paddle for mixing and shredding. Or, swap it for the included whisk for aerating, the dough hook for kneading, or flex edge beater for stickier mixtures. There's a scraper for easy cleaning of the pastry beater.
Tilt-heads are intuitive and simple. Just put the bowl in place, pop in your chosen beater and lower the head. Pick a speed from 1 for a slow stir, to 6 for beating and creaming, and up to 10 for fast whipping. It will whip cream in less than 60 seconds (2)!
Go large or small with the spare bowl
With this mixer, you get not one, but two, stainless steel bowls. This means you can make extra for batch cooking, or tackle two recipe steps at once. Mix your sponge in one, whip up your meringue in the other for a dreamy lemon cake.
The bigger 4.7 L stainless steel bowl has a comfortable ergonomic handle. It can knead up to 2 kg of dough, or mix 9 dozen cookies (3) in a single batch. The 2.8 L stainless steel bowl is perfect for little jobs on the side. You can add an extra 60 (5 dozen) cookies in a baking session, without having to start over. So, everyone can indulge in those butter fingers.
