Why is it important to steam out the machine before shipping or storage?

Water or condensation inside the tubes or hoses may freeze in storage or transit because of low temperatures.

This would cause breakages or cracks inside the machine. If it needs to be stored or shipped, then choose the 'Evaporate system' icon from the cleaning functions. This cleans out the water from the lines to avoid build-up or freezing during long-term storage.
