Which attachment to use for what?

The attachments and accessories vary depending on which model you have. You’ll find them easy to swap with a twist-and-lock motion. If you have the chopper, it’s a little container with its own integrated blade — all powered by the blender body.

The blending arm

Use for smoothies, milkshakes, soup, cooked vegetables, frosting, or baby foods. The 4-point stainless steel blade design ensures your ingredients are efficiently and quickly turned into perfect purées, chunky dips or even chocolate mousses. It’s up to you.

The chopper attachment

This is similar to a mini food chopper with its own container and blade. Use the chopper attachment to cut and chop beef, onion, garlic, cheese, carrots, nuts or herbs.

The whisk attachment

Use the whisk to get air into your mixtures. It’s ideal for combining and whipping cream, beating egg whites, mixing instant puddings, vinaigrettes, or for making mayonnaise.

How to use the blending arm

You can use the blending arm in any way you like. Either dip it into the mixture in your pitcher, or any container or cooking pot of your choice. With the variable speeds, you control the results. NOTE: do not immerse the motor body into liquids or other mixtures.

PAN GUARD

The pan guard prevents any scratches to your precious cookware. To add it, unplug the blender and angle the blending arm to one side of the mounting clip. Then, gently pull the other mounting clip outward and push down the blending arm. Check the clips are secured into place.

BLENDING

Insert your hand blender in the mixture. Press the variable speed controller to start. Use your free hand to cover the top of the blending pitcher for better stability and to avoid splashing.

DRAW UP

Use a ‘draw up’ motion with the hand blender to move ingredients within the pitcher. Slowly draw it upwards against the side of the pitcher or container. Repeat until all the ingredients are the consistency you’re looking for.

MOTION

With your wrist, make a circular motion to draw the hand blender up slightly and let it plunge again into the ingredients.
